Halloween fun with toddlers

Hello bloggers,

Halloween is coming soon, do you need something to do with those energetic toddlers?

Here is two fun projects you can do with them for some fun time and it’s cheap. Added bonus!

Project 1:

Pumpkin painting –

Supplies :

  • Medium sized pumpkins ( 1 per child )
  • Non-toxic acrylic paint ( several colors )
  • Paint brushes
  • Paper plates or aluminum foil for paint trays
  • Blue painters tape
  • A white plastic table cloth if you choose indoors. I used brown packing paper just so they could paint on it too. ( However, outdoors is easier to clean up) I did it outdoors.

Okay so first off I took the painters tape and designed “Trick or Treat ” on 3 pumpkins and “Boo” on 2 others. Next, I set up an area outside placed paper plates around with different colored paints each with their own brushes. Lastly, I let the babies loose to have fun.

Finished pumkins

The first pumpkin got messed up because one of the babies peeled the tape before the paint dried. You can also use mod podge to seal the paint on the pumpkins after it dries.

This was fun, we do it every year!

I will post project two tomorrow so stay tuned!
