Ladies I have another simple and cute birthday party idea for you. I had fun with this one! Baking and decorating the cake and cupcakes was a lot of fun. I will get to that later!
SO today I’m going to show you a simple and cheap way to decorate a PAW PATROL BIRTHDAY PARTY. Yep, you heard me PAW PATROL! My two year old is obsessed, “Chase is on the case” is what I hear all the time. He loves Chase! So I decided to throw him a paw patrol birthday party for his second birthday. He loved it.
So first off as always when planning any event organize your date and time, send out those invitations a month in advance. And, always make sure you specify on the invitations if you are having dinner, a BBQ, a snack bar, what ever and specify what your child needs most. Let them know the theme and what he/she loves.
So, PAW PATROL can be for a girl or a boy either way. Just switch up the colors to match your baby girls personality. Here is how I designed a PAW PATROL THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR UNDER $100.
Okay so most of these decorations came from Wal-Mart, I just jazzed a couple things up.
In the party supply section of Wal-Mart they had a lot of PAW PATROL items for a birthday party. So I started with the banner. (I purchased the one they had and matched all my colors to it.)
I then choose my colors for the streamers and as shown in the photo above I got red, blue, light blue, white, light green, and yellow. Wal-Mart also had some wall hanging pictures of the different pups and paw prints so I purchased those and the tissue paper fans. I taped the pups and paw prints to the fans and hung them in front of the wrapped streamers and below the banner. Super cute right! This cost me around $15.00.
(Please ignore the blurriness this was not a good camera.)
Next I purchased two paw patrol table cloths and balloons to match, red, green and blue. I also found some really cute card stock pup masks (Rebble, Marshall, and Chase) so i got those for the kids too as well as a Chase Pinyata .
The birthday boy and his Rebble mask!
This was the food table! All of the platters and bowls were blue and red. The cups, plates, bowls, napkins and utensils were color matched as well (White, Blue and Red). We had snacks for the kids, I made Ham and Cheese Pinwheels, two kinds of chips, Cookies and cream puppy chow, M&M’S, and obviously cupcakes and a cake with some chocolate swirl ice cream.
The cake it was a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting. The large paw prints are marshmallows and around the edge I placed m&m’s. Simple cheap and cute. I’m no artist please don’t mind the lettering. It looks awful!
The Cupcakes were chocolate cupcakes with red and blue frosting. The paw prints are designed out of regular size M&M’s and Mega M&M’s.
The decorations were easy, and cheap I spent around $30.00 total. Then on the cake and snacks and odd things like the cups and plates I spent around $250.00. Not bad for a birthday party.
A couple more ideas for a PAW PATROL themed birthday party would be to use dog bowls as serving bowls and scoops (Brand new of course), and get some cheap stuffed dogs from a thrift store or dollar general and create doggy certificates for each stuffed animals and have a “puppy adoption” letting each child choose a puppy. To keep the children from fighting over the puppies you can do this as a door prize by letting them choose when they come in or doing a name draw and awarding the puppy to a child that way.
Well I hope you enjoyed another round of party idea’s.
