Bachelorette Adventure start up

Hello hello,

It’s day one of Bachelorette adventure week.

So when you are chosen to plan your Bride-to-Be’s big bachlorette party, you have to remember this phrase: “Kiss the Miss Good-bye” or “the last fling before the ring”. You want to go all out for your girl, after all, your weekends out on the town together are about to end. Not completely but for the most part.

So think real hard about what your going to do and make sure it reflects your bride-to-be and who she is as a person. Don’t just take her to a bar and get smashed. Number one she will be bloated the next day (her wedding day) and her dress won’t fit right and number two that’s not a memorable last night out that is worthy.

No, go out with a bang!

So where do you start? I will tell you right now. (Ohh and start planning as soon as your bride-to-be gives you the date of the wedding).

First things first, go to your local store and get a notebook and a folder. Then jump on Pinterest and search “Bachelorette party ideas” start pinning things you like.

Now, deside if you want a theme for your adventure day or party night. I chose an adventure day with a burlesque/moulin rouge theme. My colors were red and black (This was a personal reason and I will go into that later.) Once you have your theme, decide when you are going to throw the bachlorette adventure day, make it the weekend before or the day before the big day. (We did it the day before.)
After that make a list of all the ladies that will attend. Stick with bridal party, don’t invite extras.

Be sure to jot all this in your notebook to keep track of everything.

So after (let’s recap):

  • You choose  the theme/colors
  • Tally all the guest
  • Choose the date and time

Your next step is to pick out your invitations. And as always be sure you are specific on the date, time, theme/colors, and the plan. Be sure to tell the girls what the menu is. You can include an itinerary if you are going to be doing a lot of things or doing it over 2 or 3 days. A schedule is always good. Let the bridal party chip in, have them pay their share. A bachlorette party gets to be very expensive when your the only one paying for it. If your going shopping or going out to eat have them pay their share.

After your invitations are complete don’t bother sending them out unless they are not locals in that case send them. Plan a meeting to discuss the plans and give them their invitations then. Be specific and be clear.

Discuss what your day will intell, for instance when and where to meet up. Deside if you will take multiple vehicles or just one. Deside who will pay for what and where you will go.

Now, here comes the fun:

Outfits + decorations= shopping

Well there you have it, your starting point. I hope you enjoy. Tomorrow I will take you down the road of scheduling the whole day. So come back for more.
