Hey hey bloggers!
Yesterday I went through the run down on planning a bachlorette adventure day. Well tonight I have a invitation/Itinerary for a burlesque/moulin rough event. Cute huh!
I search for 2 weeks for a cute and free template to use for this. This is a free template from http://www.greetingsisland.com they have a bunch of cute and free invitation templates.
I changed the colors to match our theme and added the lip prints and the font that I wanted. Then I just printed it out cut it to size and got red construction paper and glued it to it and cut it to be about 1/2 inch bigger then the template.
It didn’t cost me anything because I already had the stuff incliming the construction paper.
I put the date, time, and place we were meeting up and then the times of all the other places we were going and what the girls needed to bring.
I passed out the invitations at the first meeting we had.
We met up at Tonka Hills Restaurant at 6:30 in the morning. This is where I gave all the girls their wine glasses, and T-shirts (I will show these tomorrow). I also gave our bride-to-be her gifts and she gave each of us a ring to thank us. We also took before photos at the restaurant.
The we all rode together in my blazer and had a photoshoot with Sarah Mckenzie Photography ($179+ $75 for print release CD), Then we went to steak and Shake for lunch. A customer there paid for our meal. We stood out. We all had mathing tie-die T-Shirts and black pants. Our bride had a sash that said Bride-to-Be and her boho vail on. He left a note on our receipt telling her Congratulations. It was really sweet.
After lunch we hit up the nail salon ($30.00 each). Then we split up, myself and one bridesmaid went to the hotel room to set up and our Bride-to-Be and another bridesmaid went shopping (her distraction). After our hotel set up was completed we met up at JJ Twiggs for dinner. Then partied it up with some booze and games back at the hotel.
The morning of the BIG DAY I woke before everyone woke Katie up she took my after photo and I took all the others. Then we had mimosas and breakfast and I gave each girl a “morning after” bag. Then we packed up and headed to the wedding spot to set up and kiss our miss good-bye.
It was a great day!
Tomorrow’s blog will include the design of the wine glasses, t-shirt, morning after bags and before and after photos. So stay tuned for more Bachelorette adventure week.
