Hey Lovelies,

Okay SO you have a blog and you totally LOVE ITbut it’s time to turn this hobby into a full time profitable business. How do we do that? We blogger with income reports in the 50K-100K range on Pinterest daily. How do they do it?

Well for starters a lot of hours go into it but it all starts with a Creative Idea you want to share with the world. Then there’s the planning, the building, the advertising, the promoting, the hours of writing, taking stunning photos and editing them to perfection, giveaways and much much more.

So where does the money making come in?

Here are 5 ways Bloggers Make Money from their blog:PicsArt_05-24-05.45.59

Affiliate Marketing

Bloggers play the middle man for large companies like Share-A-Sale or JVZoo who offer affiliate programs where bloggers can earn a percentage of commission for referring people to their products or their merchants products. For instance smaller companies like optinmonster partner with Share-A-Sale and give a percentage to the affiliate when someone buys their products or signs up for their services. Most bloggers make half of their income from affiliate marketing.

Guest Posts

Some bloggers allow other bloggers to post on their blog on their specified topics. Pay is discussed with editors but sites like the penny hoarder  enjoys sharing money saving idea’s or Read.Learn.Write accepts posts on personal experience. If you need help writing a pitch Jordan from Writing Revolt has some great advise and a free course on how to build a freelance writing business in 4 months with no degree.guest-blogging-tips

Selling Ad Space

Bloggers make a large sum of money from selling space on their sites for ads. Bloggers can control what ads are placed and where they are placed and they control how much they are paid to give a company space to advertise their business. It’s really a win/win for both parties. There are ad networks like Adsense, Wordad, and infolinks you can partner with. Then there  are smaller businesses like a popular local retailer. You do the research and you choose what you are paid. Also, most ad networks have a pay per click or some do pay for monthly space.

Review Posts/Sponsored Posts

Bloggers can write Product or service reviews in exchange for free products or even cash. Always discuss with the owner of the product or service if you can write a post about their company or their products. Check sites for affiliate programs, with those you earn a commission for every sale you have through your special link. One of my favorite companies to do product reviews on is Legging Army , with my special link I earn commissions for signing people up to our affiliate program and for each purchase they make and Melaleuca I earn products for new enrollments.PicsArt_05-23-12.14.07.jpg

Sale your own Services/Products

The largest part of a bloggers income comes from selling their own services or products. Depending on your niche will depend on the product or service. Some bloggers sell digital products, e-books, instant downloads, have a online shop, or offer classes or courses. This way bloggers establish their Brand and have a passive income and control all the money coming in and out.

SO that’s the basic and most popular ways bloggers make a passive income. Good luck on your blogging journey.

Until next time,
