Frozen Themed Birthday Party

Hey lovelies,

So for my daughters 5th Birthday party she wanted Frozen.

I’ve probably seen the movie 1000 times and sing let it go in my head daily at least twice a day.

Gotta love being a mommy.

So here is the set up for her party.

She loved it… I hope you do too.

I made basically everything by myself, I had a lot of Christmas stuff left over that was just perfect for the Frozen theme.

So first off the back drop was a purple plastic table clothe I pinned to the wall.

The first thing I always do is the Banner and work the rest of the decorations around it, I feel the banner is always the center attraction of the party decorations, It pulls everything together.

So the Birthday Girl Banner

to create the banner I cut out flag like pages from pink, purple and teal scrapbook paper, then I placed white sticker letters on each piece of flag paper in the center, next I hot glued snowflake confetti I found in a Christmas tote, lastly I put a hole in each side of the flag paper and strung light blue tulle through the back of each paper until banner was complete, as shown in the photo.

Next I made her Number 5

This was made out of a piece of cardboard, white and purple tulle and snowflake confetti. All I did was cut out the 5 paint it white, hot glue the beginning of your tulle to the corner of the five and wrap the white tulle around and do the same with the purple over the white. Lastly hot glue the snowflakes in desired place.

Then I made her a Elsa and Anna photo frame for her wall and all I did here was download some photos from google and glued them together. Then I found some cute snowflakes on google printed them out, cut them out and glued them to white construction paper and stuck them to the wall.

I also had some star and snowflake ornaments that I had in my Christmas tote, so I upcycled them turning them silver, teal and purple. After that I took some old spiral hanging ceiling decorations I had left over from her first birthday which had Dora on them, well I took Dora off and put on the stars and snowflakes and hung them up with the streamers. Then one table had a snowflake table clothe with snowflake confetti on it and the other table had a Frozen table clothe. All the utencils, plates, cups, and napkins were purple, teal, and snowflakes, ohh the cups were red.

The next thing I did was print off Olaf masks, Elsa Crowns, and Anna Crowns. Punched holes on the sides and tied tulle to each side to tie around each childs head. I also printed off a Olaf craft, which was Do you wanna Build a Olaf craft.

ohh I also built a terrible snowflake pinata because I could not find a frozen pinata locally. Which you can see on the table in the first photo.

So after I did the decorations and the craft set up for the kids I put together the snack bar.

  • Mini Sandwiches
  • Cheese balls
  • Powdered donuts
  • nacho cheese deritos
  • cool ranch deritos
  • cheese and cracker tray
  • iced animal crackers
  • Cheese burgers
  • Hot Dogs

The Punch Bowl

  • 2 liter sprite
  • large can pinneapple juice
  • polar blast hawiaan punch
  • vanilla bean ice cream
  • 1/2 bag of ice

And the last thing was her cake. I am NOT a professional or even close to one but I think I did a okay job on my daughters cake.

Well there you have it, a cheap and easy Frozen Birthday Party for a broke suburban momma.

Until Next Time,

~Gruada Mom~
