It’s not your time

This is personal,

I need prayers for my uncle.

I don’t understand why you did it but I am thankful you have so far survived it. I love you and I’m very heart broken.

It’s not time for you to leave,

Your too young,

You have kids,

You have family,

It’s not time for you to leave.

I just want to know why?

Now your suffering and we are all scared to death we are going to loose you.

You can’t leave this earth yet,

I need you.

Your kids need you,

Your family needs you.

Please lord don’t take him from us!

Give him a second chance at life.

Let him stay with us!

I pray and pray,

Tears flow hard from my face!

My heart racing and my mind is blazing,

There’s no words to decribe the fear and hurt and for how I feel right now.

Levi don’t give up yet please!

So many wonderful memories appear in my vision,

I can see each vein, they all have risen.

Stay with us and hold on tight.

Don’t give up and leave this life.

Hold onto my voice and follow it home,

Come back to us with out a fuss,

We will care for you and help you see it through.

Our love is an unforgettable bond,

It is precious and free

Like the dolphins in the deep sea.

Your more than a ruby and more shining than a pearl,

Your young, bold and brave,

Your part of my world I must say,

I refuse to say good-bye but instead I want to say hey.

I need a forehead kiss to ensure your safe,

But I can’t,

It’s just not the case.

I love you more than words can say,

So please fight and come home to stay.

♡♡♡♡~Always love,

Your niece~ ♡♡♡♡

To anyone reading this:

If a friend, loved one or even a stranger talks about killing themselves DON’T take it lightly.

Get them help asap!

They can and will try to take their own life at any given moment.

Reach out to them and care for them.

Show them they are loved and wanted on this earth. Be kind, passionate and gentle.

Don’t give up in them because once you do they will give up on themselves and try to take their own life.

The pain is unbearable and absolutely heart breaking.

Love them like you’ve never loved before!

24 years of Heart Survival

Hello everyone,

Today I want to share my grandfather’s story with you.
Gary West is the second longest living heart transplant patient in the United States and the third in the world. That’s a huge deal. This man inspires me everyday that miracles do happen and anything is possible.

Gary was the head Foreman for Trico dock center at the lake, this business started on his property, all the plans and designs were his. My grandmother was a EMT for 21 years and has done many other things too. Our family wasn’t rich but we were wealthy. I remember they took a vacation once a year for 2 weeks to a different state each time. They are country lovers who went dancing every Friday night.

25 years ago my grandfather Gary had a heart attack working in the shop. He was taken to the hospital, he then found out he had a heart disease and would need a defibrillator and would soon need a heart transplant. Eight months later they found him a perfect match and on June 1, 1992 at Barns Jewish hospital in St. Louis Missouri he had an open heart transplant. His donor was a 16 year old girls heart, he was honored to meet her parents and thank them for the new heart a few months afterwards.

Since his heart transplant 24 years ago Gary West has two pace makers, several Stent and more than 30 minor surgeries. Gary also had a Kidney transplant November 15, 2013 and his Gull bladder removed July 2016. Gary takes 21 medications daily and has to stick to a low sodium diet. He has had 7 major surgeries and has been pronounced dead on the operating table twice. Gary has had more than a dozen skin cancers removed from his skin and has had to undergo dialysis and chemo treatments twice. Barnes Jewish Hospital calls him The Bionic man and he has an audience every time he steps into the hospital. He has to have Lasix through an IV at least once a month to drain access fluid from his body. Just three weeks ago he was admitted with pancreatitis and had to have 8 lbs of fluids removes from his body. He seriously looked 8 months pregnant.

This man has had a very challenging life and has spent about half of it in the hospital. However despite everything he has been through he still wakes up every day thankful he is still alive. He was only given 6 years to live and has survived 24 years now.

He pushes himself every day to get out of bed and exercise, he does more for others than he does for himself. Gary spends every day cooking, cleaning, and driving for others who can not drive themselves or those who don’t have a car. He believes it is his responsibility to take care of their needs. He says it is his way of helping support his family that he can no longer physically take care of. Gary is always there when someone needs him and he enjoys being the “go to guy” because it makes him feel needed still. He can not work and has not made a pay check in 25 years, he receives a monthly disability but that does not cover his bills. His wife (My grandmother) has to work 3 jobs to keep them a float. They own their home sitting on 10 acres, however, can not pay all the bills between her income and his disability check. My husband and I live in the home with them and take care of the both of them and pay what they can not, including our own bills. His wife had a double hip replacement 7 months ago. Life is not grand for us, we do what we can. In the end it is all worth it because we get to wake up to this man every day. I couldn’t imagine life without him and I am very thankful for every moment I have been able to spend with him and every moment my babies get to spend with their great grandfather. He has 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Although he has not been noticed by the media like most, he truly deserves to be recognized.

Who inspires you?

Shower Buddy

Hey guys here’s a random blog for you today!

I have a bathroom buddy that has been living in my bathroom for 4 months now. She is very tiny, green, hops and eats flies and other insects.

Do you what it is??

Well, if you guessed frog, you are correct!

This is my little buddy. My daughter thinks it’s a female and named her Princess Frog.

I have taken this frog back into the woods about 3 or 4 times in the last 4 months and she keeps coming back for some reason. However, a benefit is I don’t have any flies or insects in my bathroom. She eats them all! I love it!

I had to share! Hope you enjoyed this.

Overcoming the Obstacles of Change

So over the weekend I posted about “Changes “. The point was if things are not working in your life, such as culture differences, relationships, work, whatever…. if you notice there needs to be a change for you to feel that freedom and wildness again. Then I’d say figure out that change. Here are a few steps I plan to take(or have already taken) and hope you do to. In order to live the life you want then you have to take action to improve. and to just be you. The best you, that you can be. (That’s a tongue tier.)

So, the first step to making those changes you have identified is to make a solid plan to overcome the Obstacles. So, pay close attention to the “what is stopping the change”. Once you noted the Obstacles, take action.

If the changes are: you feel you need to be more financially stable to be happy but your stuck and don’t know where to turn. Then think about your passions, rather it is a hobby of photography, crafting, event planning, monetizing it doesn’t matter. Turn your passion into dollars.

It is really a simple solution. You don’t want to be stuck in a loud and stressful environment living life day to day in a bad mood all the time. Overcome those obstacles by facing them head on. I, for instance, faced my obstacles head on recently and started changing my whole life. I have been unhappy for a while with several aspects of my life. And, for the first time in a long time, I am starting to feel like the best of me is coming back.

Now, after you take action in overcoming the Obstacles, just keep pushing forward. Because up is the only way from here. Set new goals that fit your personality, your passions, your lifestyle. (Because let’s face it, your the only obstacle there is. As long as you keep making excuses, you won’t ever make those changes ).

Most importantly follow your heart and stick to your plan. Find that special niche that beings the best of you out and start painting the world with your creations, your knowledge and your inspiration to do better and be more.

If your change is that your relationship is smothering you and your just not compatible. Stop making yourself suffer and stop torturing the other person. If spicing things up and trying to rekindle your love and those sparks don’t work, then walk away and start the search all over.

No matter your situation, you must do what makes you truly happy. What makes you feel alive, wild and free.

I hope this encourages you to take the steps to overcome your obstacles in your need for change. Take action and speak loud. Show the world who you really are.

Thanks for joining me,
